| Dear Parent,
You've just learned that your son/daughter's school has scheduled a grade level or special group trip and are wondering about its educational value. You also have concerns about safety, and want to know who will be chaperoning the group. ... read more ...
At Travel Adventures, we are as concerned about the safety of the students on our trips as we are about the educational value of those trips.
In this and any linked pages, we would like to answer any questions you may have about the educational tour your school is promoting. We provide these pages as a service to you because we ourselves are concerned parents. (Most of the Travel Adventures staff has at least one child under the age of 25.)
You may wish to visit our Frequently Asked Questions page for answers to many questions about accommodations, safety, or general travel arrangements. There is a special section of the FAQ called "For Parents" which may interest you. We have also highlighted a few important questions below:

Q: What will my child learn from this travel experience?
- Travel adds depth to the student's experience that starts at home and in the classroom. It is an opportunity to grow personally from new experiences.
- Travel allows students to make contact with people who live in other cultures and learn from the valuable experiences they can share.
- Travel allows students to grow academically from subject-area experiences that cannot be reasonably created in the classroom.
- Travel expands the student's view of the world and the student's perspectives on themselves and their own culture.
